• Field Service Engineer – United States/Canada

    Preferred Experience: 2+ Years

Rocky Mountain POS is seeking dedicated and hardworking Field Service Engineers who are tech-savvy and service-driven. If you are someone who enjoys technology and wishes to grow your trade in the field, then this is an excellent opportunity for you! As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing point-of-sale systems, digital signage, wireless communication systems, and various other technologies.

We know that the environment here can sometimes be hectic and challenging, but that’s what makes it so rewarding. Our cutting-edge engagement with technology will keep you at the top of your game, with a skill set that is always fresh and relevant. We believe in bringing out the best in everyone who works here, and you will get the chance to collaborate with some of the most talented people in the industry.

Our Field Service Engineers are home-based and go directly to service sites to work on their assigned jobs. You won’t have a fixed route or a local office, but that’s what makes this position exciting. Your assignments will vary, and you will work during the day, night, overnight, or on weekends.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will need to travel extensively, including weekends and some holidays (by vehicle or plane). Your schedule will vary greatly, and travel can be up to 100%. Therefore, we require that you have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance at all times.

The ideal candidate will have CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to stand, lift up to 70 lbs., crawl, climb, and use maximum dexterity for long periods. Additionally, you must be able to write reports, records, and correspondence. You will also need to follow standard operating procedures and pass a criminal/drug test.

We prefer candidates with prior experience in Point-of-Sale equipment, Digital Signage, or CCTV Security Systems. If you have experience/training with cable management, low voltage, or electrical, that’s a plus! If you have prior experience in restaurant wireless headset technical service, that’s also a bonus!

If you meet our requirements and are looking for a challenging but rewarding opportunity to grow in the field of technology, then we encourage you to apply now! We require a High School Diploma/GED or Associate’s degree for this position.
